What it prepares you for
The final objective of this master’s degree is to provide, in a professional, ethical, scientific and integrative manner, graduates in psychology with the knowledge and skills necessary to practice the profession of General Health Psychologist.
As specific objectives:
- To instruct in the scientific foundations, both theoretical and practical, of General Health Psychology.
- Describe and practice the key techniques and tools of the psychological assessment process, positioning the suffering of the person as a key part of the process. To provide the student with the necessary knowledge about the most effective techniques and tools for psychological intervention in different populations.
- To deepen in the different skills of the therapist necessary to perform a humane, professional and value-based work.
This master’s degree qualifies the student as a General Health Psychologist, allowing them to work in the private sector and in general healthcare settings, excluding the National Health System.

Entry Profile
Access criteria:
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
It will be necessary to have 90 ECTS of specifically sanitary character in addition to having
a grade point average, equal or superior to 6.5 to be able to start the admission process.

Once the self-enrollment period is open, you will receive instructions from the Master’s Coordination to do it in the University Portal. To do so, you must have provided all the necessary documentation for your admission.
