What it prepares you for
You will become a great professional by understanding the regulatory and organizational frameworks related to Early Childhood Intervention at both national and international levels. You will also be able to design interventions for prevention or rehabilitation, tailored to different contexts (familial, school, etc.) and taking into account the unique characteristics of each child.
Therefore, this responds to a social demand for professionals who carry out their work by understanding and analyzing specialized documentation on the latest advances in prevention and intervention in the field of early childhood intervention.
For this purpose:
- You will learn to distinguish and categorize the different intervention models in early childhood care, as well as the various developmental disorders.
- You will handle various evaluation systems for addressing children with specific educational needs.
- You will understand and plan preventive or rehabilitative interventions in different developmental contexts.
- You will be trained to identify and select tools and strategies aimed at promoting the child’s autonomous development.
- You will gain knowledge to apply scientific advances in neuroscience to early stimulation
- You will incorporate the knowledge acquired in the Master’s program into the development of a project focused on the prevention and intervention of developmental disorders or issues

In the event that the demand exceeds the offer, the Postgraduate Commission will consider the following criteria to select the most suitable candidates:
- Professional experience (years of professional experience in teaching and responsibilities held) 35%
- Letters of recommendation from professors and/or professionals supporting the application 15%
- Higher Degree (if the candidate has completed one of the preferred studies most related to philology, language teaching, and educational sciences) and academic transcript 35%
- Application form (where the candidate must reflect their personal interest and the reasons for wanting to pursue the master’s degree in several sections).
