Request information

You will intervene effectively in complex situations related to families, couples, and individuals from the systemic paradigm.

Additionally, after completing the training, you will be able to obtain official certifications and work as a Family Psychotherapist, applying comprehensive and advanced models in therapy.

What it prepares you for

At the Graduate School and Continuing Education, we have designed a training pathway that prepares students to train in two levels of intervention within the relational systemic paradigm:

  • Expert Course in Systemic Intervention. With this training, the student will gain knowledge of the theoretical and anthropological foundations, as well as practical application in intervention from the relational systemic paradigm. Obtaining the title qualifies the student to apply for the title of Expert in Systemic Interventions from the FEATF (Spanish Federation of Family Therapy Associations).
  • Master’s Degree in Lifelong Learning in Systemic Family Therapy (Family Psychotherapist): Once the previous title has been completed, the student can continue their education to obtain the highest level of training as an expert in systemic therapy. After completing the training, the student can apply for the title of Family Psychotherapist through the FEATF.

The Expert in Systemic Intervention level specializes you in addressing individual, couple, and family psychological issues from the relational systemic approach:

  • Understanding the foundations of the Systemic Paradigm
  • Applying these foundations to psychotherapeutic practice
  • Learning to integrate the Systemic Model with other psychotherapy models
  • Knowing and applying intervention strategies and techniques, adapting them to each case
  • Training competencies and skills in clinical practice from the Systemic Paradigm

The Master’s Degree in Lifelong Learning in Systemic Family Therapy (Family Psychotherapist) completes the training as a family psychotherapist, focusing on three pillars: personal work of the therapist, external internships, and participation in live cases through the Gessel Camera.
