Who is the target audience?
Professionals handling animals for scientific, experimental, or educational purposes.
Requirements to obtain the Training Certificate
According to current legislation, in order to obtain the professional training for functions A, B and C, once the course corresponding to the function to be recognized has been passed, a Work Under Supervision (TBS) must be performed in a user, supplier or breeder center during which the person performs his/her functions under the supervision of the designated person competent in the function he/she supervises (not included in the courses).
This TBS is a legally established period of time, not included in the courses, which has to be carried out within an authorized research project and in a user, supplier or breeder center of laboratory animals, during which the applicant will exercise his/her functions under the supervision of a person competent in the Function or Functions he/she supervises and who will subsequently issue a certificate.
Once the course diploma and the TBS certificate have been obtained, the training must be requested from the Community of Madrid. All the legal formalities to be carried out can be consulted on the website of the Community of Madrid .

REMEMBER: It will be necessary to pass the course and later perform the TBS within an authorized research project and in a registered center in order to be able to work with experimental animals.
At UFV we only teach the ANIMAL EXPERIMENTAL TRAINING courses for functions A, B and C.

We tell you step by step how to complete the admission process.
Fill in the form to receive your request. When we receive your data we will proceed to register you in the Candidate Portal and you will have access to your personal area where you will have to attach the documents corresponding to your process.
Once the admissions committee has evaluated your application, we will send you the resolution by e-mail. In case of a positive resolution, you will have 15 calendar days to reserve your place through the Candidate Portal (see table of fees).

Once the self-enrollment period is open, you will receive instructions from the Master’s Coordination to do it in the University Portal. To do so, you must have provided all the necessary documentation for your admission.
